I am Pam Marron, your local Florida mortgage professional. I've provided FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA and HELOC/2nd mortgages for residential homes in Florida for the last 41+ years. During that time, I've also become a specialist in down payment assistance, client credit (NOT CREDIT REPAIR!) and federal student loan repayment plan help. And if a client needs longer term attention to issues that stand in the way of getting a mortgage, I refer them to certified HUD counselors who stay with the client until they are mortgage ready. I also specialize in financing unique properties like accessory dwelling units (ADU), a growing housing stock that helps with housing affordability. I am passionate about helping my clients, and focus on bringing you peace of mind throughout the home financing process.

Background
My Specialties Came out of the Housing Crisis
During the 2008 housing crisis, credit issues never experienced before in the mortgage business occurred. A major problem was that short sales were erroneously coded as a foreclosure causing a 7-yr delay to get a new mortgage, rather than the 4-yr wait required. Florida had the 2nd highest number of short sales in the U.S. and millions of past short sellers were denied a new mortgage even though they were eligible. I worked for 5 years with the CFPB and all 3 credit repositories to correct this issue.
I also developed a resource for Loan Originators located at Clients2Homeowners.com to get their challenged clients “Mortgage Ready”!
